Course Overview

This course will teach you everything you need to know in order to start making tracks in Ableton Live. You will learn the basics, step-by-step, from installing Ableton Live to starting to produce your very first track. The content has been developed and is taught by Shane Kinsella. 

This course will focus on teaching you to use Ableton's capabilities to a high standard. In this beginners' course, you'll start from scratch and we'll help you understand the fundamentals of how to get the best out of Ableton Live. This is an opportunity to get into the studio with a professional producer and Dj, musician, trainer and sound designer with over 10 years of experience

Shane has been in the industry for years releasing tracks on labels spanning many different genres such as Vandit, Subculture, Outburst records, Damaged, Whore house records Different is different Intec Digital, Pukka Up recordings to name a few…

A maximum of 10 students per class will be allowed so that each student gets personal attention and time to ask lots of questions. Sound engineering, music theory, music production; our studios are fully equipped with everything you need to start learning the art of music production with no prior knowledge required! Shane's classes will be every Saturday: 12pm - 5pm

At the end of this course, Shane will select one student who shows the most potential to receive a further day in the studio with him, getting one to one mentoring on whatever aspects of the training they want more help with. This is an amazing opportunity to get in the studio with someone as talented and knowledgeable as Shane, to ask questions, work on some of your personal projects, or polish the track you have been developing during the four weeks of the course. You will have access to Shane's breadth of experience to point you in the right direction to get your track finished to a high standard.
